CARTOONS

One of the greatest influences in my life has been cartoons (third after books and friends).I mean both comic strips and the ones on TV (yes, I STILL watch them and will watch them even if I'm eighty). They are great entertainment,by far the best pass time and have played a commendable role in developing good vocabulary(so, show this to your parents when they tell you not to watch cartoons). They have probably every conceivable genre from humor to education to sci-fi thrillers. Some of them are even inspiring. So if you are sick and tired of reading for your boards (and actually have managed to read a reasonable quantity) then watch cartoons for 15 minutes (at the most, don't blame me if you become addicted).I have way too many favourites to even dare to start typing them.

Comic strips are even better. They are portable, small(as in less time consuming) and great fun.My favourites include Calvin and Hobbes(if you haven't heard of this you don't deserve to read),Asterix and Obelix, Garfield and Dennis the Menace. R.K Laxman is awesome but a tad boring sometimes( he makes political cartoons of INDIA, what can you expect :/).

For me,childhood = cartoons, and that's the greatest compliment I can give ^_^.
